Hootan Shakiba was born on 14 June , in Sanandaj, Kurdistan, Iran to a Kurdish family and grew up there.
He studied in Imam Mohammad Ghazali Governmental Leading Middle School. He received a Bachelor's degree in theater directing from Soore University and a Master's degree in acting from University of Arts.[1][2]
