Early Life and Education

Mokgweetsi Masisi, born on July 21, 1961, is the son of the late Edison Masisi, a long-serving Member of Parliament.

Growing up in Gaborone, Masisi attended Thornhill Primary School and Maru A Pula School. Initially pursuing a passion for acting, he received acclaim for his portrayal in the 1984 Gaborone production of "Cry, the Beloved Country."
