Summary:
David Duren was convicted and sentenced to death for the abduction, robbery, and murder of 16 year old of Kathleen Bledsoe in 1983.
Bledsoe was parked in a secluded area with 17 year old Charles Leonard, when Duren and Richard Kinder approached the car with a gun. They tied the two together, forced them into the trunk of the car, drove around for a couple of hours, then stopped.
Standing approximately seven feet from the tied teenagers, Duren raised his pistol, aimed it, and squeezed the trigger.
